How Part Numbers Work Here
Every listing carries two numbers:

OEM Number — the number issued by the original manufacturer. This is the number printed in the service manual and written on most work orders. Examples: 20760515, 21994373, 947 262 1517.

Manufacturer Reference (K-Number) — our supplier's internal catalog number, in the format K10.04021 or K21.03136. Use it when a part has no published OEM number, which is common on complete assemblies and repair kits.

Reading the K-Number Prefix
- K03 — I-Shift, seals and rings
- K10 — I-Shift, transmission components
- K21 — DT12 transmission components
- K01 — Volvo engine components

How to Search
Enter the OEM number without spaces or dashes. If nothing comes up, try:
1. The number with spaces exactly as printed (Detroit numbers use the 947 262 1517 format)
2. The part description instead — "synchronizer ring", "counter shaft"
3. Email the number to sales@atlasway.net

Superseded Numbers
Manufacturers replace part numbers when a design changes. An old number may not return a result even though we carry the current equivalent. If your number is more than a few years old, email it to us before assuming it's unavailable.

Old Type vs. New Type
Several I-Shift and DT12 components exist in both old-type and new-type versions — engaging sleeves, synchronizer rings, planetary carriers, support pins. They are not interchangeable. If your listing shows both, check the OEM number against your unit rather than the description.

Welded-Type Components
Some synchronizer ring kits and engaging rings are offered in a welded version, carrying a K10.94xxx number instead of K10.04xxx. Confirm which version your unit uses before ordering.
